Objective To compare the effect of dezocine and fentanyl to attenuate the visceral reflex during appendectomy with intraspinal anesthesia. Methods Forty patients undergoing appendectomy were equally randomized to divided into the groups of dezocine (A)and fentanyl with midazolam (B). Before incision A group was injected dezocine 5mg and B group was injected fentanyl 0.05mg combined midazolam 2.5mg, Record the MAP and HR and observer’s assessment of alertness/sedation scale (OAA/S) before intraspinal anesthesia(T1),when operation begin (T2),when drag appendix (T3). The incidences of nausea, vomiting and restlessness were observed and the changes of circulation and respiration were also measured. Results The MAP and HR was significantly highter in group A than that in group B at T2,T3 ( P<0.05). OAA/S scale degraded in different degree and significantly decreased at T2,T3(P<0.05)., but there was no significant difference between the two groups( P﹥0.05). The incidences of adverse effect were obviously lower in group A than that in group B(P<0.05). Conclusion Dezocine combined intraspinal anesthesia could attenuate the visceral reflex, It is better than fentanyl for this purpose. |
