Objective:To analyze the color Doppler ultrasonography features of 52 patients with plasma cell mastitis, and to provide an objective basis for the diagnosis and clinical treatment of plasma cell mastitis. Methods:In this study, the ultrasound images of 52 patients with plasma cell mastitis were retrospectively analyzed, then the clinical staging was performed according to the corresponding image characteristics. Results:The lesions were hypoechoic in 21 cases (40.39%), hyperechoic in 8 cases (15.38%), and heterogeneous in 23 cases (44.23%); The maximum diameter of the tumors was 1.6-8.9 cm, and the average was (3.27±0.56) cm; The axillary lymph nodes was found in 30 cases (57.69%), the long diameter of lymph nodes was 11-16 mm with an average of (12.34±0.67) mm; The L/S ratio was greater than 2; The lymph nodes was in oblate form with an echo in center; The blood flow grade of Adler was mainly Ⅰ-Ⅱ in 28 cases (53.83%); The signal was located in the lesion center; The blood stream frequency spectrum of artery, including the parameters of systolic slow velocity, diastolic velocity and resistant index (0.52-0.63) was gained respectively. Among 52 patients, Doppler ultrasonography showed that 8 patients were of ductal ectasia type, 24 patients of lumps type, 11 patients of mixed cystic and solid masses type, and 9 patients of abscess type; The clinical staging results showed 17 cases in the acute phase, 15 cases in subacute phase, 20 cases in chronic phase. Conclusion:The color Doppler ultrasonography features of plasma cell mastitis are significant, which can accurately determine the shape and location of the lesion, suggesting that the color Doppler ultrasonography is of vital importance in plasma cell mastitis diagnosis. |
