Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) in hepatic hemangioma. Methods: Totally 60 cases of patients with hemangioma were selected from April 2015 to February 2019 in the Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, of whom 51 cases were confirmed by CT and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and 9 cases were provedby surgery pathology to becavernous hemangioma. Quantitative analysis of hepatic hemangioma and surrounding normal liver parenchyma was carried out with analysis software to obtain the following CEUS quantitative parameters, i.e., the rise time(RT),the peak intensity(PI),the mean transit time(MTT),the area under the curve(AUC),the time from peak to half(TPH),the wash in slope (WIS) and the time to peak(TTP). T-test was used to compare the differences of parameters between hepatic hemangioma and surrounding normal liver tissue, and the value of each parameter in the diagnosis of hepatic hemangioma was compared with the subject operating characteristic (ROC) curve.Results: RT, MTT andTTP in hemangioma were shorter than those in normal liver parenchyma, TPH was longer in hemangioma, and PI, AUC and WIS were higher in hemangioma, the differences being statistically significant. ROC curve showed that WIS was more accurate than other parameter with a sensitivity of 86.7% and a specificity of 66.7%.Conclusion: Contrast-enhanced ultrasound quantitative analysis technology can more objectively and accurately evaluate the characteristics of hepatic hemangioma, which is helpful to the diagnosis of hepatic hemangioma,and the accuracy of WIS is higher than that of other parameters. |
