Objective: To investigate the expression and clinical significance of Y-box binding protein 1(YBX1) and karyopherin alpha 2(KPNA2) in lung squamous cell carcinoma. Methods: A total of 137 patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to May 2017 were selected for the study, lung squamous cell carcinoma tissues and corresponding adjacent tissues were collected during the operation. Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of YBX1 and KPNA2 in lung squamous cell carcinoma and adjacent tissues, and the expression of YBX1 and KPNA2 in lung squamous cell carcinoma and adjacent tissues was compared; the relationship between the expression of YBX1 and KPNA2 in lung squamous cell carcinoma and the clinicopathological features was analyzed; the product limit(K-M) method was used for survival analysis, Log-rank test was used to compare the significance; COX regression model was used to analyze the factors influencing the prognostic of patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma. Results: In contrast to parcancer tissue, YBX1, KPNA2 positive expression in pulmonary squamous carcinoma(P<0.05); YBX1, KPNA2 expression in pulmonary squamous carcinoma tissue was related with degree of tumor differentiation, clinical staging, lymph node metastasis(P<0.05). The Spearman-related analysis shows that, YBX1 was positively associated with KPNA2 expression in pulmonary squamous carcinoma tissue(r=0.508, P<0.05). During the follow-up period, the mortality of lung squamous cell carcinoma was 37.23%. In contrast to the YBX1, KPNA2-negative expression person, High YBX1, KPNA2-positive expression mortality(P<0.05), Short total survival period(P<0.05); Multi-factor COX analysis results showed that, YBX1 positive expression, KPNA2 positive expression, the tumor stage was stage Ⅲ, and associated lymph node metastasis were independent risk factors affecting the prognosis survival of patients with pulmonary squamous carcinoma(P<0.05).Conclusion: The positive expressions of YBX1, KPNA2 in lung squamous carcinoma tissue is related to degree of tumor differentiation, clinical stage and lymph node metastasis. YBX1, KPNA2 expected for evaluationthe evolution and prognosis of pulmonary squamous carcinoma patients. |
