【Abstract】 Objectives: To compare the predictive effectiveness of Braden, Norton , Anderson scales and Chinese scale in assessing pressure risk among ICU patients. Method: In a general hospital, one hundred and thirty-five patients were assessed. Sensitivity, specificity, predictive values and area under the ROC were calculated to evaluate the predictive power of four scales. Results: The sensitivities are different in four scales. The AUC of Norton scales and Chinese scales were over 0.5 while the others were under 0.5. Conclusion: Braden scale and Chinese scale are more effective in pressure sore risk prediction and more suitable for use in ICU. |
