Objective: To explore the feasibility of laparoscopic cholecystectomy and clinical value through two ports in minimally invasive surgical procedures. Methods: 36 case of laparoscopic cholecystectomy with two ports approach were retrospective analyzed and summarized. Results: The operation was successful in 35 patients and one conversion to three ports of laparoscopic cholecystectomy was reported. No conversion to open cholecystectomy was reported and no patients had postoperative complications. Conclusions: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy through two ports is a minimal invasion, safe and effective procedure for diseases of the gallbladder and may further improve the surgical outcomes in terms of postoperative pain and cosmesis. |
